New Home Energy Saving Scheme
This new scheme is open to all homeowners, Landlords and
owners of multiple properties.
Grants are available for energy efficiency improvements in the following areas:

Notes;

Applicants are entitled to apply for each grant, however there is a minimum requirement that the grant amount in the first application must be €500 or greater. The BER grant cannot form part of this €500 amount.
- Minimum requirement of: 2 zones (space and water) with 7 day programmer (time and temperature) control and boiler interlock, time and temperature control of electric immersion heater and either 1 more zone control or 3 TRV's.

A full Energy Audit, with before and after
BER's can maximise the potential of your investment.
The €200 grant towards BER costs is applicable only if
you get a BER done both before and after completing your
upgrade works or renovations. We would strongly
recommend that along with the initial BER you also get a
full energy audit performed.
Our full energy audit service will help
you pinpoint exactly where your dwelling would most
benefit from improvement. Having our report to hand
before you commit your funds will help you target the
best areas for improvement. It will also detail
recommended materials and specifications to help you get
the best return on your investment. We offer a BER
certificate as a low cost option with all our full
energy audits and we also offer
discounted BER's after completion of the work. With
Energy Force Ireland a 2nd BER where we have previously
performed your initial BER (with or without a full
audit) will never cost more than €150.00
Remember you can get your initial Audit and/or BER before applying
for any grants, if you then proceed to get work done you can still
claim your BER grant in accordance with the schemes conditions.
